What differentiates The Forum Shops at Caesars from others?
Well, for starters, you cannot beat the location—just north of the “Four Corners,” where Las Vegas Boulevard meets Flamingo, one of the most famous intersections in the world. Plus, it´s surrounded by 150,000 hotel rooms that turn frequently, bringing new shoppers to the city… and to The Forum Shops.
Once shoppers are in The Forum Shops, there’s the magnetic formula of theme design, high-fashion and gourmet food that draws thousands of people daily. The mall set the stage for an intriguing retail adventure with an interior fashioned after an upscale Roman streetscape, with cobbled walkways, open piazzas, Roman-style storefronts facades and a trio of grand marble fountains—two of which have animatronic statues that rumble to life with special efects.  Above it all, the barrel-vaulted ceiling, painted to resemble a Mediterranean sky, morphs every hour from day to disk, nightfall to suñrise, with the help of a computerized lighting system.
Along with lending a theatrical air to the Las Vegas retail landscape, The Forum Shops also sparked a citywide culinary revolution. By luring Wolfgang Puck to open a branch of his Beverly Hills eatery, Spago, The Forum Shops not only became the first shopping center with a gourmet restaurant helmed by a celebrity chef, it triggered a stampede of top toques that raised Vegas’ culinary status.
And, of course, there are the stores: A heady mix of freestanding designer shops and luxury boutiques that continually pull in the most discriminating shoppers, due to The Forum Shops’ extended hours (10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday- Thursday; until midnight on Friday and Saturday), which encourage guests to truly make shopping their evening entertainment.

What has been your biggest challenge?
Presently, world-wide economics are our toughest challenge —the broad scope and dynamics that effect everything from an individual’s travel plans to their personal spending habits.
At the same time, we are deligently establishing strength with our existing customer base—as well as nurturing new relationships. We are reaching out with implementation of new programs that have been initiated due to our current challenges—

Which has been your biggest inspiration?
My parents have always been such an important part of my foundation.  They are solid, honest, ethical, common sense individuals who taught me at an early age to treat people as I would want to be treated. When faced with tough situations—use my head and have confidence in my decisions—they may not always be right—but you can certainly learn so much more from your mistakes than, in some cases, your victories.

How important is the mexican market for your business?
The mexican customer is so very important to The Forum Shops. This market segment has always proven to be valuable for so many reasons— they are fashion saavy, aware of brand quality, very aware of current trends, take pleasure in the shopping experience and lastly—their usual spend is three times the amount of a domestic shopper!

What do you recommend not to miss while we are in Vegas?
Red Rock Canyon is really very beautiful as well as The Valley of Fire—both are so intriguing. Not only the rock formations but the beautiful diversity in natural colorization, I find so interesting. Both attractions are within an hour’s drive from Las Vegas. The other on my list would be The Neon Museum—it is a graveyard for Las Vegas neon signage. There is so much nostalgia amongst the grounds, so much Las Vegas history.
